Offering Ballet School Artists and Novice Dancers the opportunity to receive world-class Ballet training from Professional Teachers and renowned Artists Nina Ananiashvili & Denis Matvienko
This intensive week-long program is designed to provide valuable knowledge in the field of both Classical and Duo dance, allowing participants to refine their technique and acting skills alongside two experienced Artists who have performed their Classical repertoire across different versions and interpretations. Nina and Denis have worked a lifetime with world-renowned Theatres and understand what it takes to succeed in Ballet
What’s unique about our Summer Intensive MasterClass is that we offer a combination of four legendary Ballet Schools, including the Moscow State Ballet School (Bolshoi Theatre), the Vaganova Ballet Academy of Russia (Mariinsky Theatre), the Tbilisi State School of Ballet Art named after V.Chebukiani, and the Kiev State Choreographic School
Our instructors have worked with Theatres such as the American Ballet (New York), the Royal Ballet (London), the Opera Garnier (Paris), the New National Theatre in Tokyo, and Theatre las Calos (Milan), and have performed productions by internationally known choreographers such as Balanchine, Robbins, and Sir William McMillan, among others. Nina and Denis are excited to share their wealth of experience with all Participants
The program is equally also a great opportunity for Ballet Couples to enhance their Duet skills through specialized Duet Classes with Nina and Denis, who have repeatedly performed together on one stage. Participants will develop much greater self-awareness, a far deeper understanding of personal capabilities, strengths, areas needing improvement, and unique attributes as a solid dancer, growing in confidence throughout the program
On the last MasterClass day, all Participants will learn the staging from Denis and perform together with NdB Theatre and world-famous Artists on one stage, creating an unforgettable experience!
The Janáček Academy of Performing Arts (JAMU)
The venue is an art higher education institution, one of four in the Czech Republic. It was founded in 1947 and currently consists of two faculties, the faculty of Music and the faculty of Theatre
Our Masterclasses will take part in both locations which will be equipped with barre and pianos. Showers, changing rooms, free water and rest area will be avaliable

We reserve the right to sort groups not only by age, but also considering the participants' professional training and level of skills, which will be assessed during first day. Schedule changes are possible, depending on the number of participants

To apply to the Ballet Stage Summer Intensive Masterclass, participants must complete an Online Application Form which is available on the event's website. Along with applications, participants should upload a portrait photo with a clear background.

Participants who are professional, semi-professional, or have completed at least one year of full-time training for a career in dance and are 13 years or older by the start of the masterclass are eligible to apply.

The deadline for applications is 15th June 2023. As places are limited, we recommended to apply as soon as possible.

Participant must inform the Administrator of any allergies or health problems and submit an accompanying letter via email to info@balletstage.com.

During submission of the application, a deposit of 25% (AED 850, including all taxes, which is approximately EURO 215.00) must be paid
-
The remaining fee must be paid in full by 15th June 2023. Failing to do so, we assume the participant will not attend, their place may be offered to others.

Payments are transacted in AED currency but can be made from any other currency.

If paying by bank transfer, any bank fees are paid by the participant or the payee.

The organizers reserve the right to retain all or part of the course fees if the applicant withdraws from the course.

Participants get access to a Telegram chat-group where admin updates are shared.

The final schedule for the masterclass will be posted on the notice board of the studios on the first day of the masterclasses.

Participants are expected to bring normal practice wear, and female candidates should bring pointe shoes with them.

To participate in the Gala Concert, all participants must have:
- Boys - Black tights, white t-shirt, white socks, and white ballet shoes.
- Girls - Black leotard, regular tights, ballet shoes, or pointe depending on age/skill. -
The organizers are not responsible for any damage or injury caused to any person attending the course or for the loss of any property.

The organizers reserve the right to change the teachers or artists in the event of illness or any other unavoidable circumstances.

The organizers are not providing accommodation or transportation.

We recommend that participants have personal insurance in case of emergencies.

Participants should not attend this masterclass if they have pre-existing injuries.

All participant grant permission to the production company, and related audition sponsors, organizers, management, third party affiliates and producers to use any personal photographs/video content without expecting payment or compensation for the purpose of public relations, marketing, TV, and advertising or other.
